Scratch is a programming language developed at the MIT Media Lab that lets kids mix together a wide variety of media: graphics, photos, music, and sounds. Scratch enables students to create their own interactive stories, games, music, and animation for the Web. With this new software kids can program interactive creations and then share their interactive stories and games on the Web. Session 2 (June 22-26)

Fun With Photoshop -- Canceled (Grades 7-9)

Learn to use Photoshop CS3 tips and tricks to create personalized magazine covers, self-portraits, posters, and more. Resources include step-by-step tutorials, instructional videos and demonstrations. Participants will also learn to use digital cameras, scanners, and color printers for their project development. Projects will be burned to a CD for participants to take home.
Get digital! Create an online portfolio of journalistic photographs and video (Action, Portraits, and Special Effects) using digital cameras, state of the art computers, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
