Web Page Design - (Grades 5-7)

It seems like everyone has a web page these days. Why not join the crowd? Create your own homepage on the world wide web. Bring your ideas, pictures, and other materials. When your page is complete it will be uploaded to an LPS web server. You and your friends and family will be able to see your web page from anywhere in the world. Lego Robotics - (Grades 5-7) - FULL (6/5/08)

Kids, Legos, and computers make a great combination! Students in this
class will be involved in planning, building and programming robots
designed to compete in speed racing, tug-of-war, and "Sumo-Bot"
competition. Maximum of 16 participants. Two students per robot kit.

What's your passion--sports, music, art, history? Share it and your opinion with the world by learning how to create a podcast. You will create audio or video content, complete with introductory music from Garageband that can be shared on the Internet.
BASIC Programming - (Grades 7-9) - Canceled (6/16/08)

Learn to create professional-looking, fun Windows applications using
the Visual BASIC programming language. Students will learn to write
computer programs that utilize the input/output, decision making, and
looping control structures. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
will also be incorporated.
