It's a Comic Life - (Grades 5-7)

Students will use the Comic Life software and take their own photographs to create short stories in a comic book format.

Pump up your Powerpoints by adding great graphics, sounds, and movies. The first day we'll get to know one another better by starting a PowerPoint about you.  From there, you'll choose a topic and create a PowerPoint to share.

Explore the basics of journalistic photography by creating images that tell stories. Students will take photos using digital cameras, download the images onto a computer, format them using Adobe Photoshop, and place them on a web page using Adobe Dreamweaver. They will also write captions and/or short stories to go with their photos to create an online newspaper issue.
